Built in 1921 with 233 rooms and several dining rooms on the site of an older hotel (the 1840 Sheraton House). Closed in 1973, then bought in 1975 by Charismatic Renewal Services, a religious group. Downtown South Bend Inc. purchased the property in 2002. It was converted into LaSalle Apartments in 2016 with 67 upscale units, and 8,400 square feet of commercial space on the main floor. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.$1.00 token for Hickey Brothers Cigar Shop #29, in the LaSalle Hotel.
