The House of Farnam boasted of the oldest continuously produced cachet service. It was founded by Dusty and Vera Farnam in Cleveland on May 9, 1936, sold to John Halliday in the late %u201870s, then was taken over by Artmaster in 1988.Kolor Kover began producing covers on November 4, 1948 with the 3-cent Will Rogers stamp. Their covers are distinguished by the colored paper used for the envelopes, and they utilized different colors for different issues.
