ArtCraft cachets were produced between 1939 and 2015. The company was also known as the Washington Stamp Exchange, and it printed covers using a costly engraving process on rag-content envelopes. Signed by Henry F. Schricker, who served two non-consecutive terms as Indiana Governor, from 1941 to 1945, and from 1949 to 1953%u2014during the Indiana Territory Sesquicentennial.Signed by John J. Gillen, who was named Clerk in Charge of Station 69 in 1920, Deputy 2nd Assistant Postmaster General in Charge of International Postal Transport in 1946, Acting 2nd Assistant Postmaster General in 1947, and retired from the Universal Postal Union of the United Nations in 1955.
