Built in 1928 by Detroit%u2019s ContinentalLeland Corporation. It was remodeled in 1963 (when it lost much of its original detailing) and renamed the Leland Motor Inn. Radisson purchased the property in 1986 and spent $5.5 million in renovations, but closed the hotel in 1990. In 2001, the facility was converted into apartments for senior citizens. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
