Designed by local architect Charles Weatherhogg, and opened as the Anthony Hotel in 1908 with 263 rooms. The name was changed to the Van Orman Hotel in the mid-1940s, but when it closed in September 1969 it was once again known as the Anthony Hotel. Imploded in 1974.Built in 1887 on the site of the 1831 Columbia House hotel. Jasper Jones bought it in 1930 and renamed it the Jones Hotel, then John Arnold purchased and refurbished it in 1966, and it became the Rosemarie Hotel. It was razed after an arsonist set fire to the building on February 3, 1975.
