                                    Pioneer Flights (continued)%u2022 August 28-31, 1912. Again at the controls, Horace Kearney flew a mail pouch from the Boonville Fairgrounds Aviation Meet about twenty-one miles to a point near the Boonville Post Office where the mail pouch was dropped from the plane. He repeated this on each of the four days of the air exhibition. Recycled postcards, inscribed %u201cSouvenir of the Rockport Fair,%u201d were used for the occasion, with the words %u201cRockport Fair%u201d covered with a %u201cBoonville Fair%u201d label.%u2022 September 25, 1912. Aviator Charles F. Walsh took off with a mail bag in a Curtiss biplane from the West Side Ball Park Aviation Meet in Bluffton, then landed back at the same ballpark. The mail he carried was the taken to the Bluffton Post Office.
