This cover features a special cancellation that includes a drawing of the Jupiterballoon. It was postmarked on February 5, 1984 at a special postal station in conjunction with EUPEX, the annual stamp show and exhibition of Euclid, Ohio%u2019s Euclid Stamp Club. Besides a special cancellation and cachet, EUPEX events typically have a guest exhibit, an extensive members exhibit area with awards, and a bourse with a number of dealers. The city of Euclid is an inner-ring suburb of Cleveland, and the club was founded on March 31, 1967. It continues to meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday%u2019s of every month, and has sponsored various activities such as rummage sales, picnics, and a Christmas in July party. In 2021, it hosted a Haunted Philatelic display of stamps and covers.Official club seal.
