This postcard features a Cinderella stamp depicting John Wise. It was on the 1970 flight by Nina Boesman when she flew her Nimbus balloon over Zambia. Africa. It was produced by the Netherlands Aeronautical Museum. Ms. Boesman-Visscher (1918 - 2009) had a fifty-year career as a balloonist. She was honored with the golden honorary badge by the Royal Dutch Aviation Association in 1999 for her pioneering role in the field%u2014the highest honor of the association. Signed by Ms. Boseman, with her photograph on the reverse (below).
