John Bower will be giving a PowerPoint presentation about his Indiana photography to the LA 498c/598a "Design with Photography" class in the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State University in Muncie, IN, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 10:30 am. The title of his presentation will be "2nd Stories, A Hoosier photographer explores what's upstairs, on top, and overhead" and it will be based on his Indiana photography book of the same title.

March 29-30, 2014, Indiana Artisan Marketplace, Indianapolis, IN

John Bower will be offering his books and photographs for sale, and will be meeting with the public, at the fourth annual Indiana Artisan Marketplace on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 10 am to 5 pm. This exclusive event will be held in the Expo Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. Admission will again be $10 for all visitors, and tickets are available at the door. In addition to browsing the Artisans' booths, visitors again will enjoy music, live art and craft demonstration, and food and drink tasting.

April 12, 2014, Westfield Preservation Alliance, Westfield, IN

John Bower will be giving a PowerPoint presentation about his Indiana photography for the Westfield Preservation Alliance, at the Westfield City Hall in Westfield IN, on Saturday, April 12, 2014. The title of his presentation will be "Capturing the Soul of Indiana—A celebration of our overlooked cultural heritage" and it will feature black-and-white images from all 7 of his Indiana photography books. There will be aan outdoor social gathering, with refreshments and finger food, between 5:30 and 6:00 pm with John's presentation starting at 6 pm. There will also be a book sale and signing afterward. The Westfield City Hall is located at 130 Penn St. in Westfield, and the general public is invited.

May 13, 2014, Thorntown Public Library, Thorntown, IN

John Bower will be giving a PowerPoint about his Indiana photography at the Thorntown Public Library in Thorntown, IN on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 7:00 PM. The title of his presentation will be "Journey's End—Relics and ruins of Indiana's transportation legacy," and it will be based on his Indiana photography book of the same title. May 3 through June 15, 2014, Honeywell Center, Wabash, IN

John Bower will have a solo exhibition of his photography in the the Clark Art Gallery at the Honeywell Center in Wabash, IN from May 3 until June 15, 2014. John’s exhibit will feature a selection of black-and-white photographs from each of his seven Indiana photography books. There will be a reception at 7 pm on May 6, 2014, at which John will give a PowerPoint presentation, and be available to discuss his work. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public. The Clark Gallery's hours are the same as the Honeywell Center's hours, typically 8 am to 8 pm daily.
