January 2005 Wells Community Cultural Center Lafayette, IN

John Bower will be giving a slide presentation about his photography, at the Wells Community Cultural Center on Wednesday evening, January 19, 2005 at 7:00 pm. The Center is located at 638 North St. in Lafayette, IN. This event is sponsored by the Tippecanoe County Historical Museum and its phone number is 765-476-8411. There will be an exhibit of Lynn Bower's prints in the Flashlight Gallery at the John Waldron Arts Center in Bloomington, IN January 7 through January 29, 2005. March 2005 , The Viewfinders, Columbus IN

John Bower will be giving a slide presentation about his photography at The Viewfinders Photo Club on March 21, 2005 at 7:00 PM. The presentation will be at the Still Frames Studio, which is located at 408 Washington Street in Columbus, IN.

April–May 2005, Monroe County History Center, Bloomington, IN

This exhibit will feature selected photographs from Guardians of the Soul, and will run from March 29, 2005 to May 27, 2005. The historical museum is located at 202 East 6th Street in Bloomington. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1 PM to 4 PM, and, in addition, on Tuesday 10 AM to 1 PM and on Saturday 10 AM to 12 PM. The Museum's phone number is 812-332-2517.

June 2005 Krempp Gallery, Jasper, IN

There will be a solo exhibit of John Bower's photographs at the Krempp Gallery in Jasper, IN From June 1 through June 30, 2005. There will also be a book signing and slide presentation by John on Sunday June 5 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. The gallery is located at 951 College Ave. (on Jasper's Vincennes University Campus). August–September 2005, BloomingArts, Bloomington, IN

This "His & Hers" exhibit will feature a selection of John Bower's photographs and Lynn Bower's prints. BloomingArts is sponsored by Bloomingfoods, the Encore Cafe, and the Theater Cafe. The primary exhibit is located at the Encore Cafe, which is at 316 W. 6th St. in Bloomington. Hours are Monday thru Thursday 7am - 10pm, Friday and Saturday 7am - 12pm, and Sunday 10am - 10pm. Exhibits will also be on display located at the Bloomingfoods East store (in front of K-Mart east, at 3220 E. 3rd St.) and at the Theater Cafe (adjacent to the Buskirk-Chumley theater, at 114 E. Kirkwood Ave.).

November 2005, Sponsel Photography, Shelbyville, IN

John Bower will have a book signing at Sponsel Photography in Shelbyville, IN on Sunday November 20, 2005 from 2 to 4 pm. The signing will be in conjunction with a "Tour of Empty Spaces" whereby the public can visit and inspect the upstairs interiors of several downtown buildings. These are the types of spaces John has captured in his latest photography book, 2nd Stories. In fact, there are seven photographs from Shelby County in 2nd Stories, and the Knights of Pythias building is featured prominently. Sponsel Photography is located at in downtown Shelbyville at 2 Public Square.

December 2005, New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art, New Harmony, IN

John Bower be the featured artist with some of his photographs on display in the consignment gallery of the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art in New Harmony, IN during December 2005. Autographed copies of John's three books will also be available. The Gallery is located at 506 Main St. in New Harmony. Hours are Tuesday thru Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 12 to 4 pm
