John Bower will be giving a PowerPoint presentation about his Indiana photography at the Fulton Co. Public Library in Rochester, IN on Thursday, March 11, 2013 at 6:30 pm. The title of his presentation will be "Capturing the Soul of Indiana—A celebration of our overlooked cultural heritage" and it will feature black-and-white images from all 7 of his Indiana photography books. April 6-7, 2013, Indiana Artisan Marketplace, Indianapolis, IN

John Bower will be offering his books and photographs for sale, and will be meeting with the public, at the third annual Indiana Artisan Marketplace on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. This exclusive event will be held in the Expo Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, and there are expected to be over 200 premier artisan exhibitors. In addition to browsing the booths, visitors will be able to enjoy live Indiana music, craft demonstrations, as well as food and drink tasting. Note: On Friday, April 5, 2013, from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm, there will be a “Trade" day of the Marketplace, which will be open to wholesale buyers only, by invitation only, not the general public.

April 16, 2013, Tippecanoe County Public Library, Lafayette, IN

John Bower will be giving a PowerPoint presentation about his Indiana photography at the Tippecanoe County Public Library on Tuesday, April 16. 2013 at 7:00 pm. This will be in conjunction with National Library Week. The title of his presentation will be "The Common Good, An Indiana heritage built with taxes, tithes, & tuition" and it will cover John's most recent Indiana photography book of the same title. April 22, 2013, Midwest Cultural Tourism Conference, Bloomington, IN

John and Lynn Bower will have their Studio Indiana books and photographs in a booth at the 2013 Midwest Cultural Tourism Conference in Bloomington, IN on April 22, 2013. The conference will consist of "Talks from Cultured People Passionate about Tourism" and will be held at the Bloomington Monroe County Convention Center between 8 am and 3 pm. The Convention Center is located at 302 S. College Ave. in Bloomington.

May 7, 2013, Riviera Camera Club, Indianapolis, IN

John Bower will be giving a PowerPoint presentation at a meeting of the Riviera Camera Club, in Indianapolis, IN on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 7:00 pm. The title of his presentation will be "Capturing the Soul of Indiana—A celebration of our overlooked cultural heritage" and it will feature black-and-white images from all 7 of his Indiana photography books. John Bower will be giving a PowerPoint presentation at a luncheon sponsored by the Zionsville Historical Society in Zionsville, IN on Sunday November 17, 2013. Lunch will be a pitch-in affair at noon with John's presentation afterward. (Please bring a side dish or dessert, and your own table service.) The luncheon and presentation will be at the Zionsville Lions Club Community Building at 115 South Elm Street in Zionsville. The title of John's presentation will be "Capturing the Soul of Indiana—A celebration of our overlooked cultural heritage" and it will feature black-and-white images from all 7 of his Indiana photography books. There will also be a book sale and signing following the presentation. This event is sponsored by the Zionsville Historical Society with membership from the Zionsville Village Residents Association and Maplelawn Farmstead Inc. and the general public invited to both the luncheon and the program.

John Bower will be offering his books and photographs for sale, and will be meeting with the public, at the third annual Indiana Artisan Winter Market at Indiana Landmarks Center's 1201 Gallery. This event is being held in conjunction with the Indianapolis Downtown Artists and Dealers Association’s "First Friday after the Winter Market" and it will run from 6 pm to 9 pm on Friday evening, December 6, 2013.
