Glider Development Conference. December 2-3, 1966 in Bremen. Rocket glider H.O.G.(black rubber stamp) Transported with rocket glider type SEL/66.(red etiquette) Express delivery.(text on back) Novel gliders were tested on an industrial site in northern Germany by the Testing Team of the Rocket and Space Technology Training and Testing Center of the Hermann Oberth Society. These differ from the Swallow type in that two half-shells do not allow the missile to glide after the propellant charge has burned off, but rather two wings applied during takeoff ensure that it lands safely. The goal is to later support this novel method with a guidance system and transfer it to larger missiles. President of the HERMANN OBERTH SOCIETY eV.
