(Hermann Oberth Society).Reduced facsimile of back below.(cachet text) October 27-30, 1966, Conference on Propulsion in Space Travel in Hanover and Freudenstadt.(purple rubber stamp) Transported with rocket from the H.O.G. Test Series VR 10.(text on back) Hanover/Freudenstadt. Postmark Day.During the year-long tests, various parachute releases were tested with the aim of ensuring the landing of the rocket parts. For the first time, special electric detonators were used in these series of tests, thereby ensuring that the tip of the rocket, with the payload, and the tail could land on parachutes carried without delay. In the next experiments, special devices carried will make it easier to locate the missile parts so that they can be safely recovered in any weather and during any boarding. The rocket cards carried with the two series of tests were handed over to the German Federal Post Office for stamping and forwarding by post.HERMANN OBERTH SOCIETY, PRESIDENTThe scale on the other side provides an overview of the individual altitudes at which aircraft and spacecraft move using the various types of propulsion.
