F.W. Sander, who died 30 years ago at the Bremerhaven-Luneort airfield, the Hermann-Oberth-Gesellschaft eV launched 2 series of supply missiles with the approval of the Bremen Senator for Ports, Shipping, and Transport.This rocket launch ended a multi-day event that began with an evening symposium %u201cFrom the distress rocket to the ion engine,%u201d on September 13, 1968 in the Maritime Academy in Bremen.The previous speakers were President Obering, A.F. Staats Vice President, Engineer H. Langkrar, Private Lecturer Dr. H. Lob from the I. Physical Institute of the University of Fiessen and Diplomaed Engineer H. Nickish from ERNO-Raumfahrttechnik GmbH, Bremen.The magistrate of the city of Bremerhaven decided to rename a path leading to its former site, and later the street, in Friedrich Wilhelm Sander-WegHERMANN-OBERTH-GESELLSCHAFT eV, President.
