Built in 1926 by George J. Marott, famous guests have included Clark Gable, Winston Churchill, John F. Kennedy, Jane Mansfield, and Paul Newman. When Marott died in 1946, it went through a series of owners until it was converted into the Marott Apartments with 200 units. In recent years, its residents have included Reggie Miller, Evan Bayh, and Frank and Judy O%u2019Bannon.
