Postmarked August 17, 1936.The cottage on the postcard below has an eight-sided plan, and it does not seem to have survived into the 21st century. The card also depicts Spirit Photography, with three images of deceased individuals appearing between the posts. It even reveals the spirit of a large dog behind the woman seated on the stoop, who is herself holding a small dog. The cottages and cabins at Camp Chesterfield were designed and built by people whose construction skills ranged from minimal to expert.
