Norman.One of the Spiritualist customs that harkens back to the very early years of Camp Chesterfield was the Grove Meeting. These outdoor meetings were necessary to accommodate the crowds that were too large for available indoor spaces. Grove Meetings were one of the more outstanding features of the camp%u2019s scheduled summer programs, during which an outdoor meeting would be conducted daily, except for Saturdays and Mondays.
