Built in 1907, with the Majestic Theater behind. At that time, it was one of 7 hotels in the same Illinois Street block. The hotel%u2019s name was later changed to the Earle Hotel, and the Majestic became the Mutual Theater. By the 1960s both had been demolished.Built between 1919 and 1922 by the E.G. Spink Company with 121 units. It was renovated in the 1950s and renamed the Continental Hotel. Additional remodeling occurred in 1974 and 2000, and the building now houses apartments as the Lionel Artis Center.
