The building is two stories and a mezzanine in height, and houses the basic and medical science exhibits. It is %u201cU%u201d shaped, the open part facing east and surrounding a huge rostrum capable of accommodating several thousand persons, At one corner is a 176-foot tower fitted with a carillon.
