Art Craft cachets were produced between 1939 and 2015. The company was also known as the Washington Stamp Exchange. This cachet has one of the four photographs of Wise and his balloon Jupiter in Lafayette, but has the wrong ascension date%u2014August 16.Addressee, Dr. Clemens E. Prokesch, was a 1949 graduate of the New York School of Medicine. In 1960 he was one of the co-founders of Temple Emanu-El. A passionate philatelist, he served for 25 years as president of the Thames Stamp Club and also was president of the Connecticut Philatelic Society.
