All-Atomic ComicsIn 1976, the first (and only) issue of All-Atomic Comics was released by Leonard Rifas through Last Gasp Educomics in San Francisco. It offered a satirical swipe at nuclear power, and was clearly negative in its stance. This issue is from the first printing of September 1976 and sold for 75%u00a2. Underground comics such as these were independently published and were often quite popular. In fact, this issue had four additional printings, one in 1977, two in 1978, and one in 1980. The second, third, and fourth printings were priced at $1, and the fifth printing was $1.25.
