Vintage Postcards of Indiana Health FacilitiesSt. Elizabeth Hospital%u2014%u2014Lafayette, Indiana%u2014%u2014Established 1876Founded by 6 Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration who came from Germany to Lafayette in 1875. The hospital opened in 1876, and the School of Nursing was started in 1897. St. Elizabeth merged with Home Hospital in 1998, and was renamed Franciscan Health when a new building was erected in 2009.
