Schmauss in 1907.It was the first hospital in the area to install X-ray equipment and modern diagnostic tools.LaGrange County Hospital%u2014%u2014LaGrange, Indiana%u2014%u2014Established 1950After purchasing 13 acres of farm land in 1948 for $11,000, a 34-bed hospital was erectedand dedicated on September 17, 1950. A new wing was added in 1971, and the facility was soldto VenCare, Inc. in 1985. In 2008 the hospital was razed and replaced with a Parkview Hospital.Hospitals
