Walnut St., Muncie, IN 47305.The modern-style Cathedral of the Woods was dedicated on June 26, 1954. It is built of concrete-block with an ashlar limestone facade and stained glass in triangular facets. There are masonry support walls and steel joists for an open-plan interior. Arthur B. Henning of Anderson is believed to have been the architect. It is the third building on the site, the first being a tent auditorium, and the second being a wooden auditorium.Dexter Press, Inc. This upgraded stone fountain was built around 1930, and stands as an entryway for visitors to the common green space of the camp. Its style combines the rustic river stone used in the camp%u2019s bridges with the ashlar stone used in 1950%u2019s construction projects. After she passed into spirit, the fountain was dedicated as a Memorial Garden to Rev. Mable Riffle, who was Secretary of the association for 54 years.
