Vintage Postcards of Indiana Health FacilitiesBall Memorial Hospital%u2014%u2014Muncie, Indiana%u2014%u2014Established 1929As early as 1905, Muncie citizens saw the need for a public hospital, and established Home Hospital. When it wasapparent that a larger hospital was needed, the will of Edmund Ball helped fund the Ball Memorial Hospital Association,and ground was broken in June, 1927.
