Post-Pandemic557trouble with one particular company %u2014 Marlen Stamp and Coins of Great Neck, New York. In all, I placed several different orders with them, for a total of 23 items, over about a three-week period. Just days after placing one order, it was cancelled (and refunded) because they said the items were not in stock, and had been listed by mistake. When I hadn%u2019t received anything at all from them after two weeks, I sent the company several messages (one for each order) asking why there was a delay, and they replied that my orders would be shipping within another two weeks. When I still hadn%u2019t received anything, they cancelled and refunded another order, saying those items were out-of-stock. This was a lie, because they still had most of the items listed for sale %u2014 but at a higher price. Another time, I was told that three items would ship soon, then was issued a refund instead several days later. And I had been issued a refund for 11 other items. Which left 8 items that I never received, for which I was entitled to a refund of about $50. Of course, no refund ever came through. So I prepared a detailed letter enumerating what I had ordered, what I had not received, and how much of a refund I was entitled to. I sent it off through the Post office %u2014 with tracking %u2014 but never received a reply. The tracking did tell me that my letter was forwarded to somewhere other than their place of business. I%u2019d never had this kind of trouble with any on-line purchase in the past. As I mulled over the situation, I realized it was as if I had been dealing with Donald Trump himself. There were so many delays and lies, the communication had been horrible, and of
