It has masonry support walls and steel joists for an open-plan interior. Arthur B. Henning is believed to have been the architect. With three galleries, it is dedicated to the preservation and display of art and artifacts of the Modern Spiritualist Movement. It also has classrooms which are utilized for lectures, and for seminary classes focused on metaphysical and spiritual content. Dr. Hett was from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and the principle benefactor. He specialized in cancer research.
