This cover was flown by the balloon La Coquette which was an unofficial balloon flight of August 17, 1959, commemorating the centennial of the Jupiter%u2019s first air-mail flight. These covers were prepared by New Jersey First Day Cover collector, Charles Thatcher, in conjunction with the Balloon Club of America, specifically to be sold to collectors. They were offered with either a single stamp or a block of 4. Only those with a block of 4 were signed by the 2 pilots, Peter Pellegrino and Tony Fairbanks.
