His compelling images have been exhibited in galleries, art museums, libraries, and historical centers throughout the Hoosier state. Bower%u2019s work has earned him critical acclaim, as well as two grants from the Indiana Arts Commission. A graduate of both Purdue and Ball State Universities, this is his fourth photography book. He and his wife, Lynn, reside in rural Monroe County.SENATOR BIRCH BAYH grew up on a family farm. After graduating from Purdue University%u2019s School of Agriculture, he began his first career%u2014farming 450 acres in Vigo Co. At age 26, he was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives, where he eventually became Speaker. After earning a law degree from Indiana University, he was elected to three terms in the U.S. Senate, and later made a bid for the Presidency.
