The payload consisted of postcards with the signatures of the widow of the rocket pioneer who died all too soon, Reinhold Tiling, and the one former challenger, Baron Gisbert von Ledebur. The daytime temperature was 12%u00ba and the relative humidity was 90%. The visibility was severely impaired by thick fields of fog. This also made it very difficult to recover the missile parts that had landed over 1,700 m. away. Thanks to the use of modern radio equipment and the active cooperation of the local aero club, the rescue could still be carried out more quickly. The parachute landing took place flawlessly on all missiles, as did the remote-controlled controls that were carried for the first time.(state)PresidentandHead of Rocket and Space Technical Teaching and Testing CenterBank account: The Sparkasse in Bremen, account no. 18699 .
