Nuclear Weapons of the Atomic AgeHicksAtomic Trading Stamp Folder C. W. Hicks started a chain of gas stations in Illinois in 1931, and changed their names to HicksAtomic after World War II. In the 1970s, he renamed them again to Hicks Gas for Less. The company closed its last gas station in the 1990s, and now only sells propane.
