                                    The Huff Daland Dusters Company was founded in 1924 as the world%u2019s first aerial crop dusting enterprise. In 1928, it was purchased by C.E. Woolman and renamed Delta Air Service%u2014after the Mississippi Delta. Over the next few years, Delta flew passengers between Dallas, Jackson MS, and Atlanta, then renamed itself Delta Air Corporation in 1930. In 1934 it was again re-named to become Delta Air Lines. It offered the first night service in 1935, flying a Stinson Model A, and was the first airline to fly a plane using two pilots. Delta was awarded the AM-54 contract, and began flight service between Atlanta and Cincinnati on July 15, 1941. By 1947, it added two Indiana cities to its routes%u2014Richmond and Kokomo. Indianapolis was included in 1959.Delta Air Lines%u2019 matchbook cover promoting Chicklets chewing gum, which was available %u201con all Deltaliners.%u201d
