Pandemic511As he was making his way between the two villages, the boy began traversing a narrow cliffside path. With every step he took away from his childhood home, he had doubts about how bad his situation had truly been. Was he over-reacting? He also worried that his parents might be disgraced and shunned because he%u2019d abandoned the home village. He also fretted about what might happen if he was not accepted in the new village. As he pondered his circumstances, his concentration was diverted from the narrow path, he lost his footing and slipped into the abyss. Within moments, he hit the ground below and died.This was not a planned suicide. Rather, his demise was due to distraction and carelessness. As a consequence, his situation ended without him firmly and finally acknowledging that his parents, his village, and their shaman, were all wrong. He had not exhibited the inner courage to discover a future of being accepted in the new village. There was much that was unresolved.After fully understanding that previous lifetime, Lynn knew she had to make correct decisions in her present life %u2014 even if it meant leaving home, and finding her own way alone. In may ways that%u2019s how she%u2019s lived her life, but not always with complete confidence. She also knew she needed to completely trust herself, and her experiences, and the direction of her path. Over time, Lynn has come to understand that she has the strength and ability to live each day on her own terms, and she must do so wholeheartedly. Yes, she knows there is still a ways to go, but she%u2019s committed to keeping herself focused and on the right path.Interestingly, Lynn can remember a few other past lives, but none in as much detail. However, each lifetime followed a similar pattern. In every one, she (or in some cases, he) was in a situation that was very wrong for a variety of reasons, but everyone around her denied the truth of the dangers. And in each case, she died without fully deciding that she was correct, and the people around her were wrong.Lynn now understands that she can remember her past lives for the purpose of finally coming to terms with that 1,400-year-old dilemma. Can she finally and totally believe in herself instead of the wrong thinking of those who surround her? Growing up as a
