BBBBThe Picturesque Belgium Exhibit created two distinctly different groups of postcards for the Century of Progress Exposition. The first consisted of a series of black-and-white photographs, printed on glossy photo paper, depicting how Belgium looked at home. The numbered cards were printed by Ruben C. Donnelley Co., of Chicago, while those without numbers were printed in Belgium. The set in this series is incomplete. The second series, of ten postcards, depicts Belgium scenes in a hand-drawn style. It was published and printed by Messrs Wellens & Godenne in Brussels Belgium. The series was available as individual cards, as well as in a set of perforated cards in a folder (as this set was). Rather than realistic people, they feature caricatures and fanciful individuals. This set is complete.%u2756Exhibitor &ConcessionairePostcard SetsBelgium ExhibitPicturesque Photo and Comics Series
