About Lynn Bower

Lynn Bower graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Western Michigan University in 1972 (Drawing major, Design minor, Secondary and Elementary Art Education). She has taught Crafts in middle school, and worked as a free-lance graphic designer. Her work has also been exhibited and sold in various venues, and over 70 of her drawings and prints are archived at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.

Lynn designed and laid out all of Studio Indiana’s publications, as well as worked on other books and videos. She produced the first four covers for Back Home Magazine, and created illustrations for other periodicals. In addition, she was a semifinalist for the Indiana Quarter Design Contest, and was named a Distinguished Hoosier by Governor Mitch Daniels in 2011 for her work with Studio Indiana.
